Tenative Schedule
Registration for the 2010 Botball season sponsored by Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar is scheduled to being on-line on December 1 and will close on January 14. I plan on sending you the registration link to our website before December 1;
On December 1, I will send out an e-mail to our entire mailing list inviting new schools to join us this coming season;
We can only accommodate 30 teams at the finals, so that will be our limit for 2010. First come, first served. If a school has more than one team register and we have more than 30 teams register, we will ask that school to drop one team to accommodate more schools;
As always, we will register each team with Botball USA and pay the registration fee as well as purchase a kit for each team;
Each team will receive their kits at their respective workshop;
The Qatar workshop is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, February 26-27, 2010;
If there needs to a workshop in Egypt like this past year, that will be the weekend of March 5-6, 2010;
At the workshop, you will be asked to submit a complete roster of your team, including the names and e-mail addresses of the coach(es) and all the team members;
The finals will be held at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar on either Friday or Saturday, April 23 or 24, 2010. We will advise as to what day the competition will be no later than December 1.
